FAQ For Attendees, Exhibitors, And Speakers:
Whova is an event management platform that combines an online app, event sessions, marketing, and logistics. The app provides both a desktop and a mobile app where RISE 2022 attendees are able to:
- View and customize their conference agenda
- Attend and participate in both pre-recorded and live conference sessions through a video conferencing app
- Meet and network with other attendees
- Pose questions and discussions to organizers or attendees
- Register through Eventbrite. Eventbrite then notifies the organizer.
- The organizer will send you an automated email with a link to Whova and RISE 2022.
- Download the Whova app on your preferred device and create a profile. The RISE 2022 is live and attendees can message each other and post on the community board.
Nothing! Whova partners with video conferencing apps to support presentations on the site. RISE 2022 will be using Zoom links embedded in the Whova platform.
Registered RISE 2022 Attendees can download the Whova mobile app directly on the RISE 2022 conference home page on Whova.
Whova is free for RISE 2022 attendees.
It is now live! This allows attendees to create profiles and network, if they wish, and to familiarize themselves with the interface.
Yes. All presentations and materials for RISE 2022 will be hosted on the Whova platform.
Whova supports both a mobile and desktop application.
FAQ For Exhibitors:
- Register through Eventbrite for a virtual Exhibit Booth. Eventbrite then notifies the organizer.
- The person who registers for the virtual Exhibit Booth is the person that the Exhibit Booth will be assigned and is the person who receives the attendee registration.
- If you need another person assigned to the Exhibit Booth, please email tbeat@smcgov.org with that person’s name and email.
- The organizer will send that person an automated email with a link to Whova and RISE 2022.
- Download the Whova app on your preferred device and create a profile. The RISE 2022 is live and attendees can message each other and post on the community board.
